MIT Home Labs

This video series started at the beginning of COVID. The videos challenge the viewer to do fun science and engineering experiments with things they can find in their own homes. The videos themselves are as silly and fun as I could make them. Here are a few of my favorites!

I've pushed my skills in almost every video I've created in the series. Here are a few of the ways in which I did that.

This is the first time I created a dramatic sequence. The "actors" were a jug of water and a 3D printed shot glass. I tried to mimic the stlye of a western stand-off and used one of the scenes from "The Good The Bad And The Ugly" as reference.

I really stepped it up with my special effects and illustrations for this one. My favorite shot is extracting a cartoon DNA from a strawberry.

I tried stop motion animation for this video. The people who do this professionally are like gods. I don't know how they have the patience and skill.
